Dear Wiley Alumni and Friends,

Since 1873, Wiley University has been a beacon of light, shaping scholars, leaders, and advocates. As proud Wiley alumni, you know the significance of standing with O’ Wiley Dear. This enduring spirit is what makes Wiley the home of scholars, activists, debaters, vocalists, athletes, and leaders.

As we approach Homecoming 2024, we celebrate the rich heritage of HBCUs, the call to serve others, and the legacy left by those who came before us. This year, we invite you to strengthen that legacy by supporting the next generation of Wiley students through the 2024 Send What You Would Have Spent for Homecoming Campaign.

Your homecoming gift, of any amount, will support:

  • The Wiley University President’s Promise Scholarship Program: Funded by alumni gifts, this program reduces financial barriers for our students, with over $2 million in scholarships awarded to date.

  • Operational Costs for Faculty and Staff: Your donations allow us to expand our academic offerings, including three new graduate programs and more on the way.

  • The Truby B. Clayton Endowed Faculty Chair: This endowed chair supports world-class, tenure-track faculty, elevating Wiley’s academic standing.

We invite you to contribute to these essential areas. Even if you can’t attend this year’s Homecoming, consider giving what you would have spent on the celebration. Your name will be recognized on the Giving Roll Call during the President’s Black Tie Scholarship Gala for supporting Wiley’s mission.

Let’s make this the most impactful homecoming giving campaign in Wiley’s history!

Go Forth Inspired,
