The OST Experience

Designed to welcome and engage the families of new students, providing essential information about university resources, support services, and how to best support their student’s transition to college life

A comprehensive introduction for incoming freshmen, including campus tours, essential information about university resources, academic advising, and social activities to help them acclimate to their new environment and build connections with peers, staff, and faculty.

Tailored sessions for students returning to Wiley University, focusing on updates, resources, and strategies to ensure their continued success and re-engagement with campus life.

A structured program aimed at helping first-year students transition smoothly into university life. It includes GESS courses, seminars, workshops, and mentoring opportunities designed to enhance academic skills, foster personal development, career exploration, and build a strong sense of community.

An integrated approach to career development that spans from freshman year to graduation. It includes personalized career counseling, resume workshops, internship opportunities, and job placement services designed to prepare students for successful careers post-graduation.

To foster a sense of belonging and community among first-generation Wildcats.

To enhance academic readiness, social integration, and overall well-being.

Key Components:

Mentorship: Pairing first-generation students with faculty, staff, and upper-class student mentors who offer guidance and support.

Workshops and Seminars: Offering sessions on academic skills, financial literacy, career planning, and personal development.

Community Building: Organizing social events, study groups, and networking opportunities to create a supportive peer network.

Resource Access: Providing information about campus resources, including tutoring centers, counseling services, and financial aid.
