Wiley University Commencement

Welcome to the online resource for Wiley University’s 137th Commencement Weekend. Baccalaureate Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Julius S. Scott, Sr. Chapel. The 137th Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at the Wiley University Pemberton Athletic Complex Field. Please see details below.

All family and guests are welcome to attend.

Commencement Weekend Schedule

Graduation Day Party
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Lower Level of the Student Union

Lunch
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Location: Café

Rehearsal
Time: 1:00 p.m. | Honor Cords will be disseminated at Rehearsal
Location: Julius S. Scott, Sr. Chapel

Baccalaureate Service
Report Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location to Report: Thomas W. Cole, Sr. Library
Service Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Julius S. Scott, Sr. Chapel
Attire: Black and white with robe only. Please do not wear your cap or hood.

Graduation Dinner
Time: Immediately following Baccalaureate
Location: Café
Note: The dinner is free and open to all graduates and their families. Grad boxes will be distributed at that time.

Commencement Ceremony
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: Pemberton Athletic Complex Field
Report Time: 6:00 a.m.
Location to Report: Café

Commencement Attire
Please wear your full regalia, including robe, cap, and hood. Master’s students should carry their hoods during the processional and will be hooded during the ceremony.

Important Reminders
Wear comfortable shoes, as graduates will march from the cafeteria to the field. If you are not in line by the beginning of the processional, you will not be permitted to participate in Commencement. Please be on time for all Graduation Weekend events.

It is especially important that all graduates update their permanent address before leaving Wiley University.
