Admission Requirements

Admissions Requirements:

1. A completed application for the Heman Sweatt Honors Program.

2. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

3. Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, staff, or faculty member.

4. A one-page essay responding to the following prompt:
Describe a personal passion—be it art, technology, sports, or another area—and explain how you believe this passion can be a catalyst for positive social change. How can individuals use their unique interests and talents to contribute meaningfully to their communities or address broader societal challenges?

5. For continuing students, admission will be considered based on academic performance and active community involvement at Wiley University.
