Marshall, TX - On Saturday evening, February 24, 2024, at The UNCF 77th National Council/65th National Pre-Alumni Council Leadership Conference, Miss Janae Pratt ‘26 was named Miss National UNCF (United Negro College Fund) 24-25. Miss Pratt also currently holds the title of Miss Wiley University UNCF. The selection of Miss Wiley University UNCF for National UNCF makes this the 11th consecutive year that Miss Wiley University UNCF has brought home this honor.
Miss Janae Pratt is a sophomore from Nassau, Bahamas, studying Business Administration at Wiley University. She is an active member of the Wiley University Pre-Alumni Council, Student Government Association- Sophomore Class Justice, Student Union Activities Board- Artists and Culture Committee, Chapel Assistant, and member of the A Cappella Choir of Wiley University. She serves the Marshall community as Miss Jabberwock 2023 and Harrison County Miss Juneteenth Runner-up. Miss Pratt ‘26 recently shared upon her selection, “I am grateful to God to serve not only my institution but an organization dedicated to the success of the Black community. To be selected for this honor, candidates campaigned to raise funds for the University through extensive fundraising.
