We are honored to welcome Mr. Brandon Simmons, Wiley University’s Entrepreneur in Residence, as this year’s Honors Chapel speaker. He will deliver an inspiring message titled:
“God Gave You A Powerful Mind”
Mr. Simmons brings a wealth of experience in corporate law, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and board governance. He began his legal career clerking for Chief Judge J.L. Edmondson, a federal judge appointed by President Ronald Reagan, and went on to serve in the corporate practice at Hogan Lovells, advising technology companies and investors.
His career includes executive leadership and board service in industries such as energy, aerospace & defense, and tech. He also played a key role in scaling a venture capital firm to over $1 billion in assets under management. At Wiley, he teaches the course Freedom Through Entrepreneurship, helping students unlock their potential and think boldly about their futures.

For students enrolled in online programs who are unable to attend in person, a virtual Honors Convocation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM (CST). Details and access links have been sent via email.
