A native of Memphis, TN, Danielle Brooks currently serves as Vice President for Student Development, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Retention at Wiley University. Under her leadership portfolio, Dr. Brooks has the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Office of Student Engagement, Residence Life and Housing, Office of the Dean of Student Engagement, Career Services, and Student Health, Wellness, and Counseling. Previously, Dr. Brooks has served as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Chief Diversity Officer at Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville, KY, Assistant Dean for Multicultural Affairs at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Assistant Director for Student Housing at the University of Mississippi, and a Residence Hall Manager at Clayton State University and Lipscomb University. Danielle’s experience is in student conduct and Title IX, restorative justice and conflict management, residence life, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Danielle is an alum of Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor of Child Development, a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision, and holds an Ed.D in Postsecondary Leadership from Western Kentucky University. Danielle and her husband, Dr. Darrius Brooks, and their daughter Dylan Jenius (pronounced Genius) live in Bossier City, LA. Danielle is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ​
